You know you’re in Alaska when it’s 38 below zero, you can buy a snow machine in the grocery store and the car rental place has info on how to skin a bear. Steve Roberts and I recently made 2 trips to this Arctic state to film for the Alaska VA What a privilege to be welcomed into these rural communities and hear the stories of their Veterans. From Irene the torque mechanic, to Jan the Air Force Medic and Sol who was part of the very first Seal team, it was humbling to spend time with these heroes. FEB 2014
It was 50-some degrees and the sun was shining. It was the perfect weather to make it snow. After filming outside until 11pm in November, I sure was wishing I had a remote start. Thanks to the Gunter Family for letting us turn their home into a winter wonderland. NOV 2013
Our work often gives us the opportunity to travel. This time it was off to Portland. We had the privilege of partnering with Comcast to create a PSA for the Native American Youth and Family Center. Not only did we get to experience a local Pow-wow, but got to spend a few extra days eating and hiking our way through Portland. Thanks to Oscar with NAYA and to Scott for showing us the crazy swift phenomenon. SEPT 2013
Take a Trans-Am, some take golf attire, some off the wall funny talent and you have the makings for a great commercial. Heck, why not make it four! That’s right, 4 mobile electronic commercials shot in 2 days. And just when you’re right about to get your perfect shot, a 20ft moving truck pulls up and then a storm rolls in. That’s nothing when you’ve got the A-Team crew and a client with a good sense of humor! AUG 2013
New toys make for fun filming with the folks from One Floor Up. Thanks to the help from Brent the copter guru, we made some pretty driving shots for Haliburton to promote their CNG trucks. Give our crew neon vests and hard hats and watch out! JUN 2013
Helping the Native America culture grown and flourish is at the core of what First Nation Development Institute is all about. Being able to experience the Santa Domingo Pueblo first hand was eye-opening. This is a place filled with strong, warm, beautiful people with knowledge and traditions we could all learn from. Thank you to our tour-guide Harley for sharing his culture and community! MAY 2013
A big THANKS to the amazing people from the Denver Indian Center. We got to hear stories from Marty, about life on the reservation and his grandfather who was a medicine man. Shannon’s passion and knowledge for indigenous gardening is contagious. We also got our own private Pow-wow with dancers, drums and all. We feel fortunate to have captured their stories cultural beauty and put together some PSA’s we’re quite proud of. DEC 2012
We had the pleasure of spending two days filming sizzle reels with Jeff and Bo, the creative rock stars behind Flip Flop Productions. We got a first hand look inside the power of the mind through the help of our host and hypnotist, Jake Shannon. Jake is outspoken and interesting to say the least. In just two days, Jake helped people quite smoking, lose weight, build their business and become stronger athletes. This is the kind of TV you can feel good about! NOV 2012
Nothing could be more fun than having it out on the go-cart track with our favorite co-workers and their families. It turns out Steve Roberts has a little Dale Earnhart in his blood. It must be those fast suits we were wearing. Thanks to Jeff Warren for a great day. We are lucky to work with the most talented, creative and hardest working people in the industry. It's just an added bonus that they have a great sense of humor and are a blast to be around. OCT 2012
The athletes of The National Bison Association are the bison themselves. We filmed two days with the buffalo herds at Genesse and at Daniel's Park. These amazing parks are run by Denver Mountain Parks, and we encourage you to check them out. Our tour guide and the manager of the parks, Matt Brown, is amazing! Our crew got to get up close and personal with these incredible animals. At times, "Tiny" the bull and friends got a bit too close for comfort for our host, Marty Lindsey. SEPT 2012
